Conventional systems and tools for production data gathering, validation, visualization, modeling, engineering analysis, management reporting and optimization face significant barrier for information exchange and lack flexibility and agility to adapt to the changing business and operational needs of the Asset Teams.

PRODML (Production Markup Language) is an industry initiative to provide open, flexible, non-proprietary, standard interfaces between software tools used to monitor, manage and optimize hydrocarbon production driven by the global upstream oil & gas industry standards consortium Energistics (www.energistics.org).

The PetroSocial Production Data Hub is Perfomix’s implementation of a server for PRODML services. This product provides a very reliable, scalable and efficient storage and retrieval mechanism for production data and a collection of web services for production data management that can support the data management needs of applications aiding completions, well servicing, well testing and well production monitoring and optimization. This product supports PRODML versions 1.2 and 2.
